Our Synagogue Was Destroyed by Fire, Our Congregation Continues to Thrive and Grow.

On December 15, our landmark 180-year-old building burned to the ground. Since then, we have not missed a single service, religious school class, or mah jongg game.  We have received countless gifts -- pennies, office furniture, torahs, hugs and shared tears. We have established a temporary home, and are enthusiastically planning for our new building. We invite you to visit us in person to pray, to study, to sing, to schmooze.
Destruction and Rebuilding

Progress Update:
The T.A.A. Board has voted to rebuild on the Middle Street site. The transitional space at 33 Commercial Street is up and running.  (Best nickname so far:  the Temp Temp.)
All services, meetings, classes and events will held at Commercial  Street unless otherwise specified.
