At Temple Ahavat Achim, our B'nei Mitzvah program is a deeply meaningful journey that nurtures each student's growth, confidence, and connection to Jewish life. Under the guidance of Rav Naomi, students receive individualized support throughout the entire process—from learning prayers and Torah portions to exploring the deeper meaning of their parsha.
Our B Mitzvah Group consists of the current year’s cohort and the coming year’s, along with their families. Over the course of those two years, we meet for Shabbat dinners, discussions, and other activities, to build community together and infuse the process with meaning and connection.
As part of our tradition at TAA, each B'nei Mitzvah cohort participates in a mikveh plunge in the ocean, marking their transition with a powerful and memorable experience. With simcha (joy) and ahavah (love), our community celebrates every student as they reach this milestone.

P.S. We love it when our teens come back to chant Torah or Haftarah on Shabbat!
