Tisha b'Av is a day of communal mourning -- recalling the tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people, and that echo into today... We will join together, as if at a shiva house, for prayer, singing, and reflection.

Tisha b'Av customs:

• No food or drink
• No greeting each other
• Wear simple clothing
• No leather shoes
• No Torah study other than Eicha or Job
