This ceremony is when rabbinic candidates officially become rabbis. TAA members are invited to celebrate this momentous and special occasion with Rav Naomi, her classmates and the wider community. Moderated by Alan Feldman, this panel is inspired by a recent book by Rabbi Sharon Brous, The Amen Effect: Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and the World. The panelists will address issues of loneliness/isolation and the importance of community as they describe how this wisdom has guided them in their professional work and personal lives. Panelists include: - Brent Davison, a local social worker with decades of clinical experience - Melissa Dimond, Executive Director of Wellspring House, which supports members of our community with housing, jobs, and education - Rav Naomi, the spiritual leader of TAA We will begin with refreshments and continue in the Beit Midrash with the panel discussion and Q&A.
