We remain closed until Friday, May 4th when the current situation will be re-evaluated and a decision will be made whether or not it is safe to re-open yet.* In the meantime, we have moved our Religious School, our weekly Torah Study class, our morning Shabbat service and our Sunday minyan service to the ZOOM platform. Please see our homepage for instructions on how to join our Zervices! (aka "Services via Zoom"!

In our congregation becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah signifies becoming a full member of the Jewish community — accepting responsibilities and participating in the joys of Jewish life. Since TAA is a small congregation, we offer our students a truly individualized experience from selecting a date for the occasion to fine tuning the service for added significance. We have bar/bat mitvahed certified geniuses, students with a variety of special needs and individuals who decide to experience this joyous rite of passage in their elder years.

B’nai Mitzvah students and families participate in a series of sessions throughout the months preceding the Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Topics range from developing meaningful mitzvah projects to exploring the challenges, opportunities, and benefits of being a Jewish adult.

Our beautiful building is also available to host B’nai Mitzvah functions. Capacity is 125 for a seated social event and 175 for a standing reception. Our kitchen is strictly kosher and we have a list of approved caterers for families wishing to hosting an event at TAA.
