On Zoom Thursday, March 30th from 7-8pm
The Hebrew word “kavanah” means “intention.” Creating a kavanah is a way of developing an inner compass for the heart, which guides us throughout each day.
This Zoom-based art workshop will blend mindfulness based meditation, simple kavanah inspired art making, and group reflection. The intention is to nurture our connection to self and others in the community and also gain inspiration for ongoing daily practices.
No art experience is needed! Please just have a black pen (such as a sharpie, felt tip pen, or rollerball pen) and the printed circle pdf on hand. If you are unable to print out the circle, simply trace a circle onto your paper, using something such as a plate or bowl. You may also enjoy having something you can color with such as markers or colored pencils, but this is optional. More details provided upon registration. See you on Zoom!
